– Sold OutThe RaceFace Next R Carbon Crank is a stiff combination of materials that transfers power from every pedal stroke the ground! At 485 grams, the Next R crankset only weighs a little more than the ultra-light Next SL G4 crankset while adding strength. The low weight is achieved by the hollow carbon crank arms and the splined-crankshaft made of 7050 aluminum. Due to larger wall thicknesses compared to the Next SL, the Next R crank arms are also rated for hard Enduro use. In addition, the pedal inserts have been reinforced with adopted technologies from the SixC Downhill crank to meet the greater demands.
The spindle width of 136 millimeters is optimized for frames with 148 millimeter BOOST standard. With a diameter of 30 millimeters, it is compatible with all standard bottom bracket standards such as BSA, Pressfit92 and PF30. If necessary, the shaft can also be replaced with a wider version for FatBikes. The highlight of the Next R is the CINCH system. An integrated wave profile in the right crank arm allows the Spider to be mounted easily and quickly. The spider is then secured with a lockring. The assembly takes place via a commercially available bottom bracket key for cartridge bearings.
