Fatbikes have been available ready-to-ride for over a decade and many thousands of new fatbike riders have joined the fatbike scene over the past few years. New riders are joining the foray into the fatbike fray daily and many of you have questions with few experienced local riders to help answer them. This Holiday Season is sure to add even more fatbikers to the mix as well as have confused family, friends and relatives looking for information to help them understand a loved one who has been bitten by the fatbike bug! Everyday Cycles Fatbike 101 series is designed to answer a few of the basic questions but, more importantly, it is an opportunity for our fatbike community, as a whole, to step up and help a brother (or sister) out. Join in the conversation, add value and keep it civilized, Leave a comment below!
Some of the topics we will address include:
Frame Types
Wheels and Rims
Tires
Forks
Cranks
Clothing
Footwear
Winter Riding
Beach Riding
Drivetrain Care
Internally-Geared Hubs
Frame Bags

Pumps
Our goal with the project is to build a repository of information, not only for first-time fatbike owners but, with the participation of the more experienced among us, a useful, ongoing conversation about fatbikes and the passion we have for them.
If you have a topic you'd like for us to open up a dialog on, please send us a note to info@everydaycycles.com and we will do our best to cover it.
Here is a conversation starter! Even a decade-plus into the availability of fatbikes I think we all still hear the question from the uninitiated "What's up with those big tires?" How do you answer that question? Discuss in the comments below!
